Sand Base AAC Blocks

The traditional member of the AAC family, Sand Base AAC Blocks have superior strength and performance features that make them perfect for a larger variety of construction applications. These blocks utilize sand as the main material, which results in a denser structure and a higher compressive strength, usually between 3.0 and 5.0 MPa. Their increased density results in better sound insulation as well, making the home more comfortable and less noisy.

Sand Base AAC Blocks have a modest advantage when it comes to fire protection. Better fire resistance is provided by the denser structure, which can improve tenant life safety during a fire incident.

Sand Base AAC Blocks are often able to meet the required rating with a narrower profile, as building codes sometimes recommend minimum block thickness limits for fire resistance.

Sand Base AAC Blocks persist as popular choices because of their exceptional fire resistance, strength, and durability. For applications that prioritize fire protection and sound insulation, as well as multi-story buildings and commercial buildings, they provide superior value for strong wall constructions.

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete: Sand Based AAC Blocks and Fly Ash AAC Blocks

Properties

Sand Based AAC Blocks

Fly Ash AAC Blocks

Definition

Sand Based AAC Blocks is a lightweight porous product made of silica material (sand or quartz tailings) and calcium material (lime, cement), mixed with aerating agent (aluminum powder), through the process of batching, mixing, pouring, pre-curing, cutting, autoclaving and maintenance.

Fly Ash AAC Blocks is a new type of wall material made of fly ash, lime, cement, conditioning agent, and aerating materials, through the process of batching, mixing, pouring, static stopping, cutting, and autoclaved maintenance. Its production process is basically the same as that of sand aerated.

Composition

62% Sand – 16% Cement – 20% lime – 02% Gypsum – 0.1% Aeration Agent

65% Fly Ash – 23% Cement – 11.1% lime – 1.1% Gypsum – 0.1% Aeration Agent
